Marshall’s Forecast from NBC 4: A Warm, Beautiful Weekend

Marshall McPeek

SATURDAY:  partly cloudy, breezy, high 63.
SATURDAY NIGHT:  partly cloudy, mild temps, low 47.
SUNDAY:  sun and clouds, warmer, high 67.
MONDAY:  mostly sunny, high 69.
TUESDAY:  mostly cloudy, chance of showers, much cooler, high 59.
WEDNESDAY:  sunny, cool, high 55.
THURSDAY:  sunny, high 58.
FRIDAY:  morning sunshine, cloudy afternoon, showers in the evening and overnight, changing to rain/snow mix overnight, high 54.

BUCKEYES at PENN STATE:  partly cloudy skies in Happy Valley with a little breeze and game-time temperatures in the mid-40’s.  Take a warm jacket!

A weak cold front with roll into the northern half of the state later today.  It’s moisture-starved, so we’re not expecting it to kick off any kind of precip.  It goes stationary by tonight and lolls around through most of Sunday.  Then it lifts north again on Monday as a warm front.  Still, we should stay dry through it all.

Tuesday, though, there’s another cold front on the way… and this one has just enough gusto to throw out a few showers.  They won’t last too long as they pass through.  High pressure builds back into the region Tuesday evening through Thursday night.  Friday’s cold front could give us another wet Football Friday Nite and some rain/snow mix by Saturday morning.
